PowerBully — tracked carrier
Tracked vehicles for soft and difficult terrain — high payload at very low ground pressure.
The PowerBully is a tracked carrier for ground that no longer supports conventional machines: peatland, wetlands, restoration areas, utility corridors and sites away from made-up roads. The track system spreads the weight so widely that ground pressure can stay below that of a walking person. As a chassis it carries superstructures such as cranes, drilling rigs or tanks; as a dumper it moves bulk material with a tipping skip. The manufacturer is Kässbohrer Geländefahrzeug AG in Laupheim — the same company behind the PistenBully.

The compact chassis of the range — 9 tonnes payload at 0.19 kg/cm² ground pressure.
The 9C is the entry point to the PowerBully chassis range and at home where space is tight and the ground is soft. At 5.65 metres long it fits narrow corridors and terrain that larger machines can no longer reach. The load area takes superstructures of your choice — cranes, tanks, drilling rigs or forestry bodies.

The 12C carries a good four tonnes more than the 9C while keeping the same width. That makes it the choice when the superstructure gets heavier but the access stays just as narrow — for drilling work or crane bodies in utility construction, for example.

The 18T is the largest machine in the range and at the same time the one with the lowest ground pressure: 0.17 kg/cm² unladen, less than a walking person. With a wading depth of 1.40 metres and 31 degrees of gradeability it works where nothing else moves — in flooded areas, on peat soil and on steep corridors.

The 9D brings soil, gravel or building material to places where a wheeled vehicle gets stuck. The skip holds 5.2 cubic metres and the track system keeps ground pressure at 0.35 kg/cm² even when loaded — important wherever the area has to be restored afterwards.

Where larger volumes have to be moved, the 12D saves trips: 6.7 cubic metres per load at 11.5 tonnes payload. Typical in dyke construction, for backfilling in restoration projects and wherever a haul road would be too costly or not permitted.
